Google Scholar Fine Tuned to get FULL TEXTS

Switch Google Scholar MAX on!  On Google Scholar Find Menu at the top left

Select SETTINGS at the bottom

Find Library Links on LEFT and open

Type PRETORIA in the Search Block that pops up and SEARCH

Tick all 4 boxes that appear--SAVE

Google Scholar MAX is now switched on.[Repeat now and then to ensure the boxes are ticked] 

BEST PRACTICE once Boxes are ticked

Use Advanced Search on dropdown, LEFT

Play around with phrases, keywords, authors to access relevant Research Articles

Create you own Google Scholar Author Profile to upload research articles authored by you. Follow instructions underneath

UP Access USE Bookmarklet for Chrome

Add a UP Access bookmarklet to your Google Chrome browser

  1. Ensure that your bookmarks bar is visible by pressing "Ctrl+Shift+B" simultaneously on your keyboard.
  2. Click on the button below and drag it to your bookmarks bar.

Click on UP Access Bookmark whenever Full Text is lacking.  If the library is subscribed to that publication, UP Access will make the Full Text available. OOPS page popping up?  The library is not subscribed. Contact me for assistance.
