These subscriptions provide read access and allow eligible UP corresponding authors to publish articles as open access at no additional cost. Please note that agreements with Elsevier (ScienceDirect journals), Taylor & Francis, and Sage apply only to hybrid open-access journals. Authors are responsible for verifying whether a journal is hybrid or gold open access on the publisher's website. If you choose to publish in gold open-access journals, article processing charges (APCs) will apply, and it is the author's responsibility to cover these costs. However, the publishers do offer discounted APCs for authors who select this option. To ensure your selected journal (from any publisher) is accredited, please consult the DHET-acknowledged lists."
