UP Access Bookmarklet for Chrome

To add a UP Access bookmarklet to your Google Chrome browser:

  1. Ensure that your bookmarks bar is visible by pressing "Ctrl+Shift+B" simultaneously on your keyboard.
  2. Click on the button below and drag it to your bookmarks bar of your Google Chrome browser:

    UP Access

  3. You will see a new button on your bookmarks toolbar called "UP Access".
     

When to use the UP Access bookmarklet:

Inspect the url that is in your address bar and establish whether the text ".idm.ocl.org" has been added to the main part of the resource url.  If this is the case, you are already attempting to access the Department of Library Services subscribed materials and the UP Access bookmarklet will have no impact. 

 

 

 

 


If the url does not contain the text ".idm.ocl.org" you will need to be authenticated by clicking on the UP Access bookmarklet.

 

 

 

 

 

Once you log in using your user account details, you will have full-text access to articles available through the Department of Library Services subscriptions as if you were on campus.
