The physical library space is not big enough to house all of its collections in print format. Electronic resources such as e-books, e-journals, and videos are very convenient for both the library's physical space and user access. This is the page to explore the available e-book platforms. Newly available e-books will also be marketed here.
Please take note! our e-books are accessible from different platforms, and those platforms determine the downloading rules considering copyright law.

Interlending also known as Interlibrary loan - is the service allowing the University of Pretoria postgraduate and personnel community to borrow books and access articles the Department of Library Services does not have in its collection from other libraries across the globe.
The department of library services provides the same service to other libraries in return.
How it works:
At honours level, you are legible to receive the interlending service locally within South African borders.
From the Masters level, you are legible to receive international service.
Please note! articles are very quick to access because they will be scanned and sent through an email. Books, however, take over a month to be a courier in some cases.
