Give credit to the University of Pretoria in your article

All publications based on research done at the University of Pretoria, should include University of Pretoria in the address of the author/researcher.

  • Postgraduate students should mention the University of Pretoria in their address, as well as their supervisor and co-supervisor as co-authors.

  • If the work is written after leaving the University, but still based on research done at the University, the University of Pretoria should be mentioned.

  • If the work was done at one of the institutes or hospitals that are affiliated with the University, the University’s name should still be included.

!!! It is extremely important that your work is published in an Accredited Journal (see the "Policies for inclusion into lists" tab).

Accredited journals are recognised academic journals which meet specified criteria and therefore qualify for subsidisation by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). To receive subsidy or recognition for an article you have written, you should select a journal which is accredited from one of the lists below.
