How can I find foreign language materials in the library?
- When searching Worldcat Discovery, filter by language before or after hitting Search. When searching databases - e.g. MLA International Bibliography on EbscoHost; Periodicals Index Online (PIO) on ProQuest; JSTOR; or Project Muse - do the same.
- If interested in a work in a language other than English, do the search in English and in the other language. Although there are subject terms in some of the Modern European Languages (e.g. German and French), it is better to assume that database interfaces run primarily on English.
