Library Technical Services: Library Technical Services

Library Technical Services

The Library Technical Services are responsible for the acquisition, organization, preservation, and provision of access to materials in all formats for the library's collections. These activities are central to the Department of Library Services' vision to redefine academic librarianship in support of the University of Pretoria's research, teaching, and learning strategy and core functions. A key strategic goal of the DLS is to provide proactive, relevant, and user-driven information resources that align with the university's academic agenda.
